THE FISHER-PRICE TOY MUSEUM
fisher-price turned 90 years old and instead of making a cake, we made an entire toy museum on Instagram!
spanning over nine decades, we painstakingly researched, concepted, and brought to life over 90 individual toys with over 90 individual Instagram captions. there was also a gift shop! and influencers! and lots and lots and lots of zoom calls!

Title: Gold Star Stagecoach / Medium: Two Purty Ponies, a Tough-as-Nails Driver, One Red Ridin’ Stagecoach / Date: 1954
The golden age of the cowboy started way back in 1860, and almost 100 years later, the Gold Star Stagecoach moseyed onto the scene in 1954. It came with a red lithographed stagecoach, two galloping ponies, and a rough-and-ride-’em stagecoach driver. This wooden toy truly embodied the spirit of the Wild West, seeking adventure where the deer and the cantaloupe play.

Title: Jack ’n Jill TV-Radio / Medium: Jack ’n Jill, TV ’n Radio, Cats ’n Outfits / Date: 1959
The Jack ’n Jill TV-Radio was the first musical wind-up toy Fisher-Price ever made, and it paved the way for millions of music box toys to come. Part Jack ’n Jill, part TV, and part radio, this toy played the “Jack and Jill” nursery rhyme while illustrations of Jack ’n Jill moved along to the song. It also had a handle so you could take the Jack ’n Jill TV-Radio wherever you went, like up a hill or to fetch a pail of water!
